Bank of Baroda offers an attractive and customer friendly remittance facility to its Customers in U K called ‘RapidFunds2India’. Following are the salient features of the product :
- Easy and hassle free money transfer service to India from any of the Bank of Baroda branches in the UK
- 'Free and Fast’* remittance facility to over +2050 Bank of Baroda branches in India interconnected under the Core Banking Solution (CBS) Network. (list available at http://www.bankofbaroda.com/branchlocator.asp)
- Free remittance (no commission) in either of the following cases :
- Both - Remitter and Beneficiary are Customers of Bank of Baroda
- Remitter is not our UK Customer but Beneficiary is maintaining account with Bank of Baroda in India
- Remitter is our UK Customer but Beneficiary is maintaining account with any other bank in India.
- Where neither the remitter nor beneficiary is Customer of our Bank then charges would be levied (click here for schedule of charges)
- Speedy credit to beneficiary’s account in India. Remittance facility also available for credit to over 52,400 branches of other banks connected under National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT).
- No minimum or maximum amount for transfer to a Bank of Baroda branch & to branches of other Banks through NEFT (link to schedule of charges).
- Trade related payments not allowed.
Speedy credit to beneficiary's account in India. Remittance facility also available for credit to over 52,400 branches of other banks connected under National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT). (list available at https://www.rbi.org.in/scripts/neft.aspx )
