As a sequel to the chain of new customer-centric initiatives flagged off in its Centenary Year this year, Bank of Baroda, UK has now setup a dedicated and focused Centralised Processing Cell (CPC) for its UK Branches at 32 City Road, London.

In a short address during the inauguration, the Chief Executive for the Bank's European Operations - Mr. S S Mundra said that the CPC aims to reduce the turnaround time (TAT) for credit proposals significantly by reducing the number of tiers in the credit process.

Setup in July 1908, the Bank completed 100 years of banking on 20th July 2008 and inaugurated its 9th Branch in Kenton earlier this year. The Bank takes pride in its wide global presence serving over 33 million customers worldwide through its network of 72 foreign offices in 25 countries and over 2800 domestic branches in India.

The Bank serves the UK market since early 1957 through its 9 branches – 6 in London and one at Leicester, Manchester and Birmingham. Customers may directly access the CPC at Bank of Baroda, 32 City Road, London EC1Y 2BD or call 0207 457 1517.
