Change of CHAPS Code for all Bank of Baroda, UK Branches
May 2010
All customers may kindly note that CHAPS code for all our UK branches have changed with immediate effect. Customers are requested to please use the new CHAPS codes for all future Inward Payments/ Transfers.
Bank of Baroda is a member of Financial Services Compensation scheme.

The Bank is a member of Financial Services Compensation Scheme. Eligible depositors is entitled to claim maximum £ 50,000/- for protected deposits.
HMRC Offshore Information Notices
September 2009
We have recently received a notice from HMRC under Para.5 Sch.36 Finance Act 2008 which legally requires us to report details of any customer with a UK address on our files who we know to have an offshore account. This is part of a widespread campaign undertaken by HMRC which has resulted in 308 financial institutions receiving such notices following a decision by the First Tier Tax Tribunal on 12th August 2008.
Bank of Baroda Chairman visits Europe.
June 2009
Bank of Baroda's worldwide Chairman and Managing Director – Mr. M D Mallya visited Bank's European Operations in June 2009. During his visit, Mr. Mallya had several engagements including meeting Bank's investors, top Customers and JV Partners.

As a sequel to the chain of new customer-centric initiatives flagged off in its Centenary Year this year, Bank of Baroda, UK has now setup a dedicated and focused Centralised Processing Cell (CPC) for its UK Branches at 32 City Road, London.
